Village Pre-School

Since 1971, the Village Pre-School

has embraced Children's learning by creating

wonderful friendships and lasting memories

while providing a firm, educational foundation.

All of the children come first and foremost for all of the teachers of the Village Pre-School.

Our Core Values include:

¨       Appreciate childhood as a unique and valuable stage of the human life cycle
¨       Base our work on knowledge of how children develop and learn
¨       Appreciate and support the bond between the child and family
¨       Recognize that children are best understood and supported in the context of family, culture, community, and society
¨       Respect the dignity, worth, and uniqueness of each individual (child, family member, and colleague)
¨       Respect diversity in children, families, and colleagues
¨       Recognize that children and adults achieve their full potential in the context of relationships that are based on trust and respect

All of our teachers are experienced early childhood professionals. They are all trained in First Aid and CPR.

The Village Pre-School is a self-sustaining, non-sectarian school open to all 3, 4, and 5 year olds in the community. Although it is self-administered, it is sponsored by the Bethel United Methodist Church. Five church members serve on its board, and the pastor is a non-voting member.  Please visit www.villagepreschool.org for more information.
